Before the Intake Interview, you must do the following:
- Call to schedule Intake Interview
- Email court order to provider
- Restraining Order or No Contact Order
- Signed Intake Packet/Agreement
The Intake Interview will be conducted with each parent individually before the first visit. We will review the following:
- Visitation Guidelines set by the court
- Visitation agreement for services
- Fees and method of payment
- Safety and security measures
- Hours of operation
- Reasons for interrupting/terminating a visit
- Termination Process
Provider completes/signs Declaration of Supervised Visitation Provider form which is sent to all involved parties.
If we decide your case is a good fit, we will schedule your visits and help you plan suggested activities (libraries, parks, zoos, museums, aquariums, restaurants, etc.).
SafeGuard Visitation Services has over 20 years of experience within the mental health industry working with children and families. Our company is ran by referrals from supervised visitation directories/networks, family law attorneys, government agencies, family courts, and word-of-mouth. Our Professional Supervised Visitation Providers are background checked, First-Aid/CPR/AED trained, and court approved, set by the State of California Family Code 32000.5 We have built an ethical brand based on integrity, honesty, and our compassion for protecting children and bridging the gap between parent and child during child custody litigation. Our mission is to provide a safe space for children to have ongoing relationships with both parents.
Erin Green, leads the team for SafeGuard Visitation Services, with specialized training and solid clinical knowledge to work successfully and effectively with children, teens, families, and adults with a wide range of issues with professional ethics and compliance guidelines. She has witnessed first-hand the importance of supporting healthy relationships through adopting a trauma-informed approach to human services. Erin has worked with children and families as a mental health therapist and behavioral specialist in various settings (school/community base, group homes, residential treatment facilities, substance abuse programs, and juvenile hall detention centers). She graduated earning a Bachelors and Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix. Fun fact, Erin is a former airline professional with a passion for traveling.
A professional provider is a neutral third person that is ordered by a judge to watch and listen to every visit with the child. The provider is there to make every effort to keep your child safe. A professional provider has special training and passed a background check. They are mandated reporters who report suspected child abuse to CPS.

They can be used for short visits (1-2 hours) to long visits (8-9 hours).
Supervised visitation allows the parent access to their child in a safe environment; along with maintaining or re-establishing a relationship between a child and a non-custodial parent. Supervised visitations can be offered for short visits (1-2 hours) to long visits (8-9 hours).
Staff facilitates and monitors the drop off and pick up of children for prescheduled visits with the non-custodial parent. Professional providers have a valid drivers license and auto insurance to help you with driving the children. They have policies in place to keep both parents separate and safe during exchanges.

We pick up your child at home or meet you at a departure airport. Additionally, we can meet at the arrival airport or accompany your child via ground transportation to their final destination. Travel companions ensure your child arrives at their location safely.
